Of course it's all speculation at this point, although we do wonder if Bethesda will do what they did with Skyrim and release a proper trailer with the name at the Game Awards in December. It’s featured Xbox Game Showcase titles like Avowed. "Redguard" and "Hammerfell" certainly seem too close to "Redfall" to ignore. 1 day ago &0183 &32 Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2023 was a slower-paced show that went a lot deeper into some of the games present at the June 11 event. It's possible a new nation called Redfall has arisen since then. Before the events of Skyrim, the Redguard had seceded from the Empire, became independent, and fought off an invasion by the Aldmeri Dominion. It may have something to do with the Redguard, the dark-skinned desert warriors of Hammerfell. Gaming Game Features Will Elder Scrolls 6 Be At E3 2021: Every Reason Why (& Why Not) By Brittany Spurlin Published Many fans are likely hoping to see The Elder Scrolls 6 at the E3 2021 Bethesda showcase, but its chances of showing up at the conference are slim. Since Elder Scrolls VI would probably be set long after Skyrim, there could very well be a new location founded then. There is no location called "Redfall" in the Elder Scrolls world. The only games that aren't locations are very clear English words - Arena and Oblivion (and even those are based on specific places). This is the Elder Scrolls related Redfall content we were all hoping for, it's finally here The city comes complete with a new city layout, new wilderness layout, and a new ruler. The majority of Elder Scrolls games are named after locations in the world - Daggerfall, Morrowind, Skyrim, or the recent Elder Scrolls Online expansions of Summerset and Murkmire. TES Redfall is a new mod that replaces that old unimportant city of Daggerfall with a fresh, new city called Redfall. It certainly sounds extremely Elder Scrolls-like and would be a fitting title for The Elder Scrolls VI, but there's a catch. 'Redfall' wasnt confirmed to really be anything in the TES universe/lore, and doesnt really have any relation to hammerfell, it just sort of sounds like a mashup of 'redguard' and 'hammerfell' or 'daggerfall' essentially. First spotted by Newsweek, Bethesda just trademarked the name 'Redfall' for "computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles".
